Storing the base plates into the interior aligned slots (which prevents movement during transport) keeps them firmly in place. The case can easily be rolled by a single person. The case has four 4-inch industrial-grade casters (two with brakes) and rubber wheels. This case makes it easy to transport base plates made by the most popular manufacturers, which can be extremely heavy when transporting more than one at a time.
